RSVP: ESG SYMPOSIUM: ESG & Sustainability in Art & Creative Indutries

The APAC Focus, IGCS, and HKU Graduate Association are collaborating to host a mini ESG Symposium titled "ESG Symposium: Sustainability in Art & Creative Industries."

This symposium explores the crucial role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria within the arts, cultural, and creative industries in Hong Kong and across the globe. While ESG implications have been extensively analyzed and discussed in commercial sectors, similar discussions within the arts and creative industries have been noticeably limited.

Focusing on a practitioner's perspective and supported by academic fellows, the symposium will help attendees understand why and how ESG principles are being incorporated into the arts, cultural, and creative industries. Participants will learn about the influence of these principles on growth, sustainability, and societal impact.

The event aims to broaden the understanding of ESG implications in the arts, cultural, and creative industries. It also seeks to highlight their significance and influence on growth, sustainability, and societal impact, empowering participants to apply these principles in their professional contexts.

We have invited several distinguished speakers from diverse backgrounds:
