Submission Guidelines for APAC Insight Publication

Please carefully read our submission guidelines. Non-compliant submissions will be rejected. Please only submit one piece for consideration at a time.

We welcome submissions related to the Asia Pacific regions. We are interested in publishing articles with complex ideas presented in a clear and inviting manner for non-expert readers. Please review our recently published articles to get a sense of the type of pieces we accept.

General Guidelines

​

We welcome the following submissions:

  1. Short op-ed articles of 500-800 words.

  2. Long-form articles of 2,000 - 3,000 words.

  3. Submissions over 4,000 words will be considered by case.

​

We do accept academic essays or dissertations. Please modify them to fit the style of a long-form article.

How to Submit

To submit, please email us at apacfocus@gmail.com. If submitting a complete piece, include your name and university. If you are pitching a prospective piece, include a brief introduction of yourself, and your envisioned piece.

 

If you do not hear from us after two weeks, feel free to send a follow-up email. If you do not receive a reply after a week of sending a follow-up email, your submission has been rejected.

Established in 2012 by Prof. Luk Yan Lung Michael, the Institute for Greater China Studies (IGCS) has been quietly contributing to the field of scholarly research for approximately 12 years. The IGCS is dedicated to studying a wide range of political, social, economic, cultural, and public policy issues, with a special emphasis on the Greater China region, an important and continually evolving area of study in the contemporary world.
