RSVP: War, War Never Changes: Fireside Chat with Mini Photo Exhibition

ree

War, War Never Changes is an upcoming fireside chat and mini photo exhibition that explores the realities of conflict and geopolitics in the Middle East through the lens of Hong Kong’s pioneering female war journalist, Ms. Susanna Cheung Chui Yung (張翠容戰地記者).

The event will be held on 13 December 2025 (11:00–14:00) at HAN+ Culture Experience Center, 25/F Sugar+, 31 Sugar Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Featuring Ms. Cheung’s first-hand frontline experiences and photographic works, the programme will open up conversations on how war shapes ordinary lives, regional politics, and the global media landscape. Mr. Marco Kwong, Project Manager at the Global Peace Centre of the UNESCO Hong Kong Association, will join as a discussant to help unpack these complex issues for the audience.

Curated by Mr. Bryan L., Vice President & Director of the HKU Graduates Association and Programme Director & Research Lead of APAC Focus IGCS, the event is designed as an intimate, dialogue-driven encounter with one of Asia’s most experienced war correspondents.

It is presented by the Hong Kong University Graduates Association, APAC Focus, IGCS, UNESCO HKA Glocal Peace Centre, the HKSESSA, and HAN+ Culture Experience Center.
