He has a comprehensive professional journey, starting from managerial roles and leading to significant leadership positions across various industries since 1970s. His career began as an Assistant Manager at NYK Line and subsequently as a Manager at World-Wide Shipping in Japan and Hong Kong. He made substantial progress as Vice President at Citibank/Citicorp and as an Associate Director at Merrill Lynch. His leadership roles included Managing Director at CEF Holdings Limited, Group President at Well Bond Group Limited, and Vice President at Otis Elevator International Inc. He continued to ascend professionally, taking on roles such as Group Managing Director at Hintful Capital Limited and Chief Financial Officer at Yew Chung Education Foundation Limited.
In the academic arena, he served as an Adjunct Professor, Acting Dean, and Coordinator for the Accounting Program at BNU-HKBU United International College. He also held an associate and later a professor position at the same institution. More recently, he was the Executive Director of Executive Education and an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Accounting at The University of Hong Kong. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Director at HKU Zhejiang Institute of Research and Innovation.
He was a Council Member of the Hong Kong Japanese Alumni Association, Central Policy Unit of the Hong Kong SAR Government, School Management Board of the Queen’s College Old Boys Association and etc.
