Jerome Wong is the former co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Everest Ventures Group (EVG). Investment banker turned Web3 rainmaker, he has advised and invested into many top companies/projects including Dapper Labs (Flow), Animoca Brands, Immutable, Sandbox, Kraken, Upbit, Wormhole, Celestia, Yuga Labs, Tenth Planet, Gamee, OliveX, Prosper, Lightnet (Velo), DoraHacks, ZepetoX, Blocto, rct AI, May Social, Soulbound, izumi Finance, Coin98, Highstreet, OP Games, Matrix World, Ezek (Phantabear), Space, Transsnet Financial (Palmpay), Afriex, Future Hub in Africa (Transsion), etc.


He advises Animoca & Brinc NFT accelerator and Emurgo (Cardano). He is also a big believer of financial inclusion, he supports any initiatives that promotes the accessibility of financial rights.


He also wears different hats — founder, investor and advisor. He helped initiate Aspen Digital, and cofounded Africa Blockchain Labs, Mugen Interactive and Deva Studio. He also advises and makes selective angel investments in early startups, helping founders with fundraising, marketing, and go-to-market strategy.


Prior to cofounding EVG, Jerome was an investment banker at HSBC and UBS, and also worked as a research assistant in the Our Hong Kong Foundation. Jerome holds a B.A. in International Politics and minor in Psychology in Peking University, he is also a Semester at Sea alumnus.
