Closed Lecture for HKU Summer Institute on July 2025

APAC Focus is pleased to announce that Dr. LEE Soo-hyan, our advisor and a leading expert in international economic law and sustainable finance, will travel from South Korea to Hong Kong to participate as a featured speaker in the HKU Summer Institute programme, "Driving Business Success in a Sustainable Circular Economy".

Prof. Lee will join the forum, "Transformative Power," on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the University of Hong Kong’s main campus. He will share his insights on the evolving role of finance in supporting green and sustainable projects, drawing on his extensive experience with the United Nations and his academic leadership at the University of Suwon. He will address what impact investors look for in circular economy initiatives, and highlight the differences between traditional investment and investment for social and environmental impact.

This event will bring together 84 undergraduate students and other distinguished speakers from the sustainability and business innovation sectors for an afternoon of knowledge exchange and interactive discussion. APAC Focus is proud to support Dr. Lee’s engagement in this important programme, furthering dialogue on sustainable development and transformative business practices in the Asia-Pacific region.
